Local comedy returns to BSPAC


Borrego Laughs Again returns to the Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center for three performances on March 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. and March 22 at 3 p.m., 2026.


This BSPAC production features local talent, making it a fun chance to see Borrego Springs performers on stage. Events like this are part of what keeps live entertainment active in Borrego Springs and gives the community something special to support.


Tickets are expected to go quickly, so it is a good idea to buy early at bspac.org.

Julian Performing Arts Company will present My Fair Lady from July 17–26, 2026 as part of its 2025/26 season. The classic Broadway musical follows Eliza Doolittle, a flower seller whose life changes after she meets Professor Henry Higgins. The show includes well-known songs such as “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly,” “The Rain in Spain,” and “I Could Have Danced All Night.” The cast includes performers from the region, including Gary Edwards , known locally as President of the Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center Board of Directors. For Borrego Springs residents, the production offers a summer outing in nearby Julian and a chance to enjoy live theater "close" to home. From Norway to Spain: Sylvia Maas Rides for Borrego Springs Students On June 20, 2026, the NorthCape–Tarifa race will begin at 12:01 a.m. at the North Cape in Norway. Described as the world's longest bicycle race, the event follows a route of nearly 7,000 kilometers to Tarifa, Spain, the southernmost point of mainland Europe. Among the riders will be Borrego Springs ultra cyclist Sylvia Maas , who will be riding for her Bike4BorregoKids initiative. Track Sylvia Here The race begins at the North Cape in Norway and ends in Tarifa, Spain. Along the way, riders pass through several major checkpoints, including: Helsinki, Finland Hill of Crosses, Lithuania Torun, Poland Bregenz, Austria Col du Galibier, France Nice, France Port d’Envalira, Andorra Pico del Veleta, Spain Tarifa, Spain The route covers nearly 7,000 kilometers and includes mountain passes, historic cities, and some of the most demanding cycling terrain in Europe.
