Seven Students, Seven Paths: Rams Hill Invests in the Next Generation
Share

Seven students. Seven different educational journeys.
And one shared opportunity to turn ambition into something meaningful.
Rams Hill has announced the 2026–2027 recipients of the Rams Hill Gives Scholarship Program, recognizing Lylamae Gutierrez, Yair Fuentes, Valentina Villarreal, Naylea Villarreal, Miriam Hernandez-Perez, Mariana Torres & Jimena Ochoa as they continue their education and pursue careers ranging from healthcare and psychology to art, education & anthropology.
Created to support eligible Rams Hill employees and their dependent children, the Rams Hill Gives Scholarship Program helps students pursue education at accredited colleges, universities, technical schools & vocational institutions.

But behind the scholarship dollars are seven individual stories.
- Lylamae Gutierrez is pursuing nursing with hopes of providing not only medical care, but also emotional support to patients and their families.
- Yair Fuentes is studying psychology and has developed a particular interest in mental health and understanding the barriers that can prevent people from seeking care.
- Valentina Villarreal dreams of becoming a physician. She is already looking toward research, clinical experience & the preparation necessary to continue on to medical school.
- Naylea Villarreal is pursuing kinesiology and allied health while building her leadership experience through mentoring and her work as a resident assistant.
- Miriam Hernandez-Perez is studying psychology with the goal of working with children & adolescents and helping bring mental health resources to communities where access may be limited.
- Mariana Torres is following her passion for art while considering a future in teaching or art therapy.
- Jimena Ochoa, who is studying anthropology at UCLA, is exploring humanity through a broader lens while also participating in community outreach.
Although their paths are different, the seven recipients share qualities that reach far beyond the classroom: determination, resilience, curiosity & a desire to make a difference.
That is also where the impact of an educational investment can extend beyond a single student.
Education can create opportunities for an individual, but the benefits often ripple outward. Healthcare professionals care for communities. Educators influence generations. Careers strengthen families. Mentors encourage younger students to imagine possibilities for themselves.
Through Rams Hill Gives, scholarships can be used toward tuition, required fees, books, and room & board. Eligible scholarships may also be renewed for up to four years, providing continued support as recipients work toward completing their education.
For Rams Hill, the program represents an investment not simply in education, but in people and the possibilities ahead of them.
The road will undoubtedly include challenging classes, long nights, new experiences & perhaps even a few changes in direction. But each of these seven students has already taken an important step forward.
Congratulations to Lylamae, Yair, Valentina, Naylea, Miriam, Mariana & Jimena.
Seven students. Seven paths. One investment in the future.
