Borrego Springs, located in San Diego County, California, is encircled by the Anza-Borrego Desert, the state’s largest state park. It lies roughly 90 miles from San Diego and is part of the Sonoran Desert ecoregion, characterized by a hot desert climate and low annual rainfall.
