The video was created by Path 88 Productions, a Borrego Springs-based production company owned and operated by Alicia Wszelaki and Matthew Nothelfer.
Through interviews and personal reflections, the video describes Wright as a visionary, entrepreneur, and someone deeply committed to Borrego Springs and its people.

Just a few facts about Bill Wright
Bill Wright became known as a longtime supporter of Borrego Springs after moving to the community from Santa Barbara in 1980.
He and his wife, Jenny, purchased the RoadRunner Club RV park and later developed The Springs at Borrego, operating both properties until 2017.
The Wrights supported numerous local charitable efforts and community projects.
Together, they helped establish the Circle of Art, an annual celebration of desert art and the environment held at Christmas Circle.
Bill Wright and his family donated 26 acres for community benefit on land that now includes the Borrego Springs branch of the County Library.
He designed, financed, and built The Springs Dog Park.
The Wrights also commissioned a feasibility study for a senior center and senior housing project aimed at serving Borrego Springs’ aging population.
Known for introducing himself to campers as “The Sunday Gardener,” Wright left a lasting impact on Borrego Springs through business development, philanthropy, and community involvement.
