The 12 Days of Winter Tour featuring Cathryn Beeks, Sandé Lollis, and Micah Justice brought a soulful, story-filled performance to Borrego Springs. Micah Justice is a seasoned singer-songwriter, known for her dynamic sound and thought-provoking lyrics. Sandé Lollis is an award-winning San Diego-based vocalist and songwriter renowned for her ability to weave captivating stories through her music. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, conversations overheard in cafes, favorite books, and random thoughts, she crafts original melodies paired with introspective lyrics that explore the complexities of love, heartbreak, and life's twists and turns. Her voice and honest lyrics have struck a chord with listeners, with many praising her ability to connect on a deep emotional level. Lollis’ performance is soulful and wholly uplifting and earned her a well-deserved nomination for Best Country or Americana Artist at the 2023 San Diego Music Awards. Cathryn Beeks has been sharing original music and shining a light on the folks who make it since her first podcast in San Diego in 2004 called The Listen Local Show. She debuted her brand “Listen Local” in 2003 offering acoustic showcases, festivals, podcasts, web shows and more in an effort to introduce folks to music makers, creatives, and inspiring people/places/things in San Diego and beyond. She's been making her own music, too, with the help of her talented friends since 1998. This year, Cathryn began performing solo and with her band, The Ordeal.
