Award-Winning Julian Wines and Ciders

Bighorn Fudge is now carrying an assortment of local wines and ciders, promoting Julian wineries and cider makers including Julian Hard Cider. Many of these producers have earned recognition for excellence in regional competitions.

One standout is the Storum Ranch 2020 Malbec, which received Double Gold with a 95 percent score at the Orange County Fair. The addition of these bottles highlights the strong connection between Borrego Springs and Julian’s wine country.

House-Roasted Coffee, Served Daily

Many visitors may not realize that Bighorn Fudge roasts its own coffee beans through a local partner. Those beans are served daily in espresso drinks and drip coffee inside the store.

Options include:

  • Espresso beverages
  • Fresh drip coffee
  • Decaf selections
  • Retail bags of roasted beans

The coffee program complements both the dessert counter and the growing retail selection.

Small Batch Jams from Pacifica

In keeping with its made in California business model, Bighorn Fudge has partnered with Small Batch Jams out of Pacifica, California. Known for creative flavor combinations, the lineup includes:

  • Jalapeño Raspberry
  • Turkish Fig Ginger
  • Pinot Blackberry Thyme
  • Cabernet Grape

These flavors pair naturally with cheese boards, breads, and the newly added wine selection.

Corridor Candle Co and Desert-Inspired Gifts

Corridor Candle Co., a boutique San Diego business, is now on display for retail sales. The collection includes soy candles, diffusers, room sprays, and perfumes that make thoughtful gifts or souvenirs from a visit to Anza-Borrego.

The clean design and subtle scents align with the desert aesthetic many visitors appreciate.

Borrego Olive Oil Co Now Available

Most recently, Bighorn Fudge added The Borrego Olive Oil Co to its shelves. The gourmet line of olive oils and balsamics expands the shop’s culinary offerings and provides another locally connected option for residents and visitors.

Chico Wear Eco Travel Essentials

This year, Chico Wear has also joined the retail assortment. The shop now carries bamboo silverware kits, travel packs, and sling water bottle holders, practical additions for those exploring Borrego Springs and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

From sweets and coffee to wines and curated California goods, Bighorn Fudge continues to grow as a year-round stop along Palm Canyon Drive.
