Join Borrego Springs High School in supporting the San Diego Blood Bank High School Challenge.
Borrego Springs High School is once again participating in the San Diego Blood Bank High School Challenge Program, giving students, families, staff, and community members an opportunity to help save lives through blood donation.
The first of three blood drives for the 2026–27 school year will take place on Wednesday, September 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Borrego Springs High School Gym parking lot, located at 2281 Diegueno Road.
As a thank-you for donating, eligible participants will receive:
- A complimentary SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream ticket
- A limited-edition "Save the Humans" T-shirt (while supplies last)
Every blood donation has the potential to help multiple patients in hospitals throughout Southern California. Community blood drives play a vital role in maintaining a stable blood supply for emergency care, surgeries, cancer treatments, and other medical needs.
Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Donors should bring a photo ID, arrive well hydrated, and meet standard blood donation eligibility requirements.
Borrego Springs High School encourages the entire community to participate and support this important effort to help save lives.
Flyers with appointment information and donation incentives are included below.
