Celebrating Student Films and Mental Health Awareness in Borrego Springs
Students from the Borrego Springs After School Education and Safety (ASES) program participated in the Directing Change Program and Film Contest, a statewide initiative that promotes mental health awareness and suicide prevention through student-created films.
Families and the community are invited to a special viewing of these films on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Borrego Springs Middle School, 2255 Diegueno Road, Borrego Springs, CA 92004.
The event will also feature Family Game Night activities and free Beachin’ Boba for the first 60 students enrolled in ASES (Middle School) or ASSETs (High School).
This event celebrates the students’ creativity and their important messages about mental health and wellness.
