Borrego Soulworks Brings a Space to Rest and Recharge to Borrego Springs

A new business in Borrego Springs invites residents and visitors to take a break from their busy lives and make time for relaxation.

Cristina Serrentino, founder and owner of Borrego Soulworks and Desert Source Reiki, offers personalized sessions as a Reiki Master at 587 Palm Canyon Drive, Suite 221.

“This space was created to offer you a safe and comfortable place to fully relax, rest and recharge,” Serrentino says. “Life asks so much of us and we often carry more than we realize.”

Reiki is a Japanese complementary practice based on the concept of universal life energy. Practitioners use gentle touch or hold their hands above the body with the intention of supporting relaxation and well-being.

At Borrego Soulworks, sessions begin with a brief conversation and intention setting. Longer appointments include a grounding meditation, hands-on and hands-off Reiki techniques, and time to gradually transition out of the session.

Optional touches include a lavender eye mask, soothing music, essential oils, sage and palo santo. Serrentino’s approach emphasizes creating a comfortable space for rest, reflection and quiet.

Three appointment options are available:
