Kids Can Make a Pinwheel This Sunday at the Borrego Art Institute

Looking for something creative and free for kids this weekend? The Borrego Art Institute is hosting a KidsArt class on Sunday, July 27, from 1 to 3 PM where children ages 7 to 17 can make their own colorful pinwheel. All supplies are provided No registration required Held inside the Borrego Art Institute Gallery, 665 Palm Canyon Drive This fun, drop-in class encourages creativity and welcomes kids of all experience levels. Head to American Legion Post 853 on Sunday, July 27 for an afternoon of community connection, great food, and friendly trivia. Carnitas, rice, and beans will be available for purchase starting at 1:00 PM, followed by a trivia game at 2:00 PM. Everyone is welcome — locals, visitors, and newcomers alike. $1.00 buy-in Events like this are a great reminder that Borrego Springs is a year-round community.
