Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center

Acoustic Eidolon brings a one-of-a-kind sound that blends the warmth of cello with the distinct tones of the double-neck guitjo. Performed by husband-and-wife duo Hannah Alkire and Joe Scott, this concert promises a “genre-bending” mix of Celtic, Americana, Folk, and Flamenco influences.

Their repertoire includes breathtaking arrangements of beloved songs like:

  • Bohemian Rhapsody
  • Hallelujah
  • Stairway to Heaven

A Story of Musical Destiny

The pair’s journey began when fate led Hannah, a cellist, to a studio three doors from her own home—where Joe, the guitjo virtuoso, awaited. The unique combination of Hannah's soulful cello and Joe's harp-like guitjo created an immediate spark, leading to their first performance and the birth of Acoustic Eidolon.

New Season, Big Changes—Get Your Tickets Today The new 2025–2026 season at Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center (BSPAC) has officially kicked off! Tickets are now available online at www.bspac.org. This year’s lineup includes 11 exciting events in the 2025–2026 BSPAC Season, along with a wide variety of local productions presented at the theater by the Borrego Springs Film Festival, the Community Concert Series, the ABDNHA Lecture Series, and more.
