Local Pianist Receives High Praise for Genre-Blending Performances at Borrego Springs’ Coyote Steakhouse

Pianist Joey Ross recently received a glowing review from Milo Shapiro, who praised his unique and captivating performances at The Palms at Indian Head. Described as a standout act, Joey's genre-blending style transforms the hotel lobby into an unexpected cabaret experience, drawing locals and visitors alike. Shapiro noted that Ross’s seamless transitions between pieces—from Billy Joel to Rachmaninoff—make for an evening full of delightful surprises.

"Watching Joey in action is part of the intrigue; at times it almost appears that Joey himself is a vehicle being used by a power behind him, manipulating him rather than him being in control." Milo Shapiro - stageandcinema.com
