The House of Borrego Springs West Gallery invites you to visit with artist Leslie Nemour during ARTTALK on Saturday, February 15 at 3 pm.
Nemour will be discussing her exhibition Half Angel with the public. Nemour's exhibition consists of 31 paintings concerning "painted surrogates sharing their space with other forces in the form of shadows, patterns, plants, reflections and generis artworks on wall or tabletops. Perhaps feeling displaced, these inanimate extras disrupt a passive environment to reveal an otherworldly turbulence. The smaller narrative paintings complement the larger works in the play of transitional movement, blurry recollection and fragments in isolated details of a cryptic story."
