Borrego Valley Endowment Fund Seeks Experienced Nonprofit Leader

The Borrego Valley Endowment Fund (BVEF) is seeking an Executive Director to guide its work supporting the Borrego region’s long-term health, sustainability, and quality of life.


As the largest philanthropic institution in the area, BVEF awarded over $98,000 in 2025 to local nonprofits serving youth, seniors, the arts, education, environmental programs, and community well-being. Grantees included organizations like BASIC, the Borrego Art Institute, the Community Resource Center, and others shaping the future of Borrego Springs.


This leadership opportunity includes:


  • Strategic oversight of both BVEF and the Borrego Community Development Corporation
  • Engagement with donors, civic leaders, and partner organizations
  • Managing programs that impact everything from healthcare to youth education


Ideal for candidates with:


  • A background in nonprofit leadership or philanthropy
  • A passion for rural communities and desert sustainability
  • Ability to work from Borrego Springs or nearby areas like Ramona or Julian

Borrego Springs Art Guild Open Studios Visit the BSAG Open Studios Tour in Borrego Springs. Explore 12 artist studios February 14–15 and support local artists and arts education. The BSAG Open Studios Tour invites the public to visit 12 working studios and exhibits across Borrego Springs.
